Tonsils

Tonsils are the lymph nodes situated at the back of your neck that help a person to fight and defend against infections. When tonsils are infected, the condition is called as tonsillitis. Tonsillitis can cause issues ranging from people in their childhood to old-age. It is mostly diagnosed in mid-teens. Some symptoms are sore throat, swollen tonsils and fever. Other symptoms include stiff neck, bad breath, stomachaches, headaches, chills, etc.

This condition is treatable with proper medications and under a doctor’s guidance. Tonsillitis can cause much severe issues if untreated.
